Engineering Manager

Our client is one of Southeast Asia's most recognized digital wealth platforms, with millions of active retail investors and a product suite spanning stocks, mutual funds, crypto, and beyond. As a licensed and regulated fintech operating at unicorn scale, they have established themselves as the go-to investment platform for the next generation of Indonesian investors.

• Lead and manage a team of engineers focused on payment reconciliation systems
• Design and improve reconciliation processes to ensure accurate transaction matching across internal and external systems
• Handle complex transaction flows across multiple payment channels (e.g., bank transfers, gateways, third-party providers)
• Ensure timely identification and resolution of discrepancies or failed transactions
• Build scalable systems to handle high transaction volumes with strong data integrity
• Collaborate with finance, product, and operations teams to align reconciliation processes with business and regulatory requirements
• Drive automation and efficiency in reconciliation workflows
• Mentor and develop engineers while maintaining strong engineering standards

Key Requirements

• 7–10+ years of experience in software engineering, with 2–3+ years in a leadership role
• Strong backend engineering experience (e.g., Go, Java, Node.js, or similar)
• Solid understanding of payment flows, ledger systems, and reconciliation processes
• Experience handling high-volume transaction systems and data consistency challenges
• Familiar with distributed systems and data processing
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, especially in debugging transaction discrepancies
• Strong English communication skills
